Nationally Recognized
Retirement Plan Advisors

The Waterford Group has the people with the experience to understand the complexities of your retirement plan, the process to select and monitor your retirement plan investments and the tools to maximize your plan’s performance.

The Waterford Group

To your employees, a 401(k) is personal. It is for us, too. At The Waterford Group, one size doesn’t fit all. That’s why we work with business owners, CFO’s and HR Directors to make sure the retirement plan meets their company mission, matches the demographics of their workforce, and supports their employee benefit goals.

Beyond 401(k) plan design, access to national record keepers, and comprehensive plan reporting, it’s our proactive support of plan sponsors and participants that our clients value most. We’re always on call to answer questions, advise on plan changes and educate plan participants. Most importantly we serve as a 3(38) fiduciary, helping to minimize the company’s liability and making sure the participants are engaged and energized about this benefit.

What We Do

We serve a multitude of employer-sponsored retirement plans, including 401(k), Profit Sharing, Cash Balance, Defined Benefit, 457, MEP’s and Deferred Compensation and provide the following services.

Investment Analysis

We use our time-tested investment due diligence process to create a diversified investment menu and provide ongoing monitoring and adherence to the Investment Policy Statement.

Employee Education

We assist in strategies to help drive participation, encourage appropriate deferral rates and increase understanding and appreciation for the plan.

Plan Design Consulting

We take an active role in plan design to help you develop a benefits plan that’s right for you, your company and your employees.

Fiduciary Plan Governance

We support your plan by providing the tools and training necessary to fulfill your fiduciary responsibilities.

Provider Benchmarking

We help our clients evaluate their current service providers, the tools and technology they offer and compare the costs to same sized peers.

Plan Administration

We provide guidance on complying with ERISA, DOL and IRS rules and regulations.
